Linda Sue Miller
Inventor of the Lit Mitt
The Lit Mitt was invented by Linda Sue Miller and she is thrilled that her product made its television debut on Discovery Channel’s hit TV series, “Pitchmen.”
She first thought of the Lit Mitt one evening when her husband was barbecuing and he overcooked and ruined the steaks. “I thought why not have a grill mitt with lights, so you can see what you’re cooking,” said Linda Sue. She sewed together a sample prototype and started testing it out in the kitchen. She quickly realized that the Lit Mitt was also perfect for the oven. It illuminated the chocolate chip cookies on both racks.
But Linda Sue Miller did not stop there. “When I grew up, my mom always sang songs while cooking and that inspired me to invent the Lit Mitt with Music. It has both lights and fun, short music clips. You can operate the lights and music separately with the touch of a finger,” explained Linda Sue. “When I use the Lit Mitt with Music it brings smiles and laughter to the kitchen and I love that.”
The Lit Mitt with Music will be coming out soon and attached will be a small greeting tag. Linda Sue says, “The Lit Mitt is the gift and the greeting card.” She added, “I think all versions of the Lit Mitt are great for holidays, birthdays and housewarming gifts too. They will come in all sorts of thematic designs and for every day use.”
Linda Sue Miller is truly grateful that her folks, sisters, husband and friends have been so supportive of her invention. She hopes the Lit Mitt brings you, and your family and friends bright lights, great grilling, delicious cooking and joy.
