The Lit Mitt has an easy push button on/off switch that is located near the wrist at the top of the mitt and is noted by a white embroidered sun-ray.  A five minute automatic shut-off timer will turn off the lights and preserve the batteries.

Two replaceable batteries are included.  The two watch cell batteries are located in a small pocket inside of the Lit Mitt.  Simply open the pocket and slide out the plastic battery case just an inch or two, still connected by the wires.  Open the battery case, replace with two new batteries and tuck the battery case back into the hidden pocket, located inside the Lit Mitt.

DO NOT WASH THE LIT MITT OR PLACE IN WATER.

DO NOT THROW THE BATTERIES INTO AN OPEN FIRE.

DO NOT PUT THE LIT MITT INTO AN OPEN FIRE.

There are wires and batteries in the Lit Mitt.  To clean the Lit Mitt simply wipe with a damp cloth.

Please dispose of used batteries in an environmentally friendly way, by taking them to a battery drop off site.

The Lit Mitt is for barbecuing at the grill and cooking in the kitchen.  The Lit Mitt is made out of flame resistant fabric and designed for temperatures of up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, for short durations.
